During The Event
Will food & beverage be provided at the conference?
All Day Dining will be available in PIEF Village for all delegates attending the conference - including Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea, refreshments are included.
Dietary restrictions can be accommodated, requests will be taken through the registration process.
Will there be photos and videos taken at the conference?
Yes, there will be a team of crew capturing the event in both formats. If you do not wish to be featured in any content, please advise the crew present.
Will session recordings be available after the conference?
Most session recordings from PIEF2026 will be available for three months post conference for those with digital access. Keynotes are only available in transcript form - for a copy, please contact pief@piefconference.com
How do i access the livestreams?
Whilst logged into the app, click/press the Livestream button and all livestreams are listed. All recorded session will be available in the VOD tab before the end of October. These will be available until the end of January 2027.
How do I get help during the conference?
Please contact one of the team at the desk located in the venue lobby, or by going to
this link or asking anyone in an official PIEF 2026 tshirt.
Is there free WIFI?
Yes - there will be dedicated WiFi available throughout the venue. Further information will be available closer the event.
What are the parking and transport options?
The venue will feature on-site, secure parking managed by Wilson Parking, with primary access located at 7 Cavendish Street.
There is also the option of the new Deakin Waterfront Campus Multideck Carpark (entry at 24-26 Smythe Street), located nearby. Other nearby options include the 17 Yarra St Car Park and Civic Centre parking.
You will also find convenient access to public transport, including the Geelong Train Station (400m away) and various bus routes, with taxi/ride-share pick-up on Western Beach Road and Smythe Street.
What if there is a schedule change?
Attendees at the Conference will be able to view all live changes in the official conference app.
What is the dress code for PIEF2026?
The Conference and Experiences are business casual and the Awards Gala Dinner is evening wear. We don't have a cloakroom available.

Can I volunteer at PIEF 2026
Yes, we would welcome anyone who would like to play an important role in the success of PIEF 2026. Please contact us at pief@piefconference.com
Does the conference have any accommodation partners?
Yes, we will be partnering with the Crowne Plaza, who are part of the complex (adjoined with the Convention Centre), where there will be rooms on sale for delegate pricing.
We will also be offering conference rates for delegates who would like to stay at the Holiday Inn and the Novotel.

I am overseas, can i attend PIEF 2026?
If you are planning on attending PIEF from overseas, please consider the various visa options before going through the registration phase. Australia has some tough immigration laws, so we don’t want you to get stuck if you are considering a visit to Australia to attend the conference.
The visa that you will have to apply for depends on your passport.

The first is the standard visitor visa, predominantly used for visiting family or friends, or to holiday, but also allows you to conduct some specific business activities, including taking part in a conference, trade fair or seminar while visiting.
Good luck with this process, and make sure you are aware of the visa processing time, to make sure it’s finalised before the conference.

We are planning to release our full program by late July.
How can I become a member of PIEF?
Who produces the Conference?
The conference is designed and co-ordinated by the Personal Injury Education Foundation with guidance from an industry sub-committee. It is produced by

Will I get CPD points for attending the Conference?
Yes, you will be able to claim CPD points from your respective organisation. This certificate for PIEF 2026 can be accessed by logging into piefconference.com/app
Will the conference be livestreamed?
Yes, all conference sessions (excluding workshops, available post conference) as well as the Awards Gala Dinner will be live streamed. All inclusive and Conference Only tickets, plus Digital Passes allow you to view the conference in real time.
Pre-Event
Can I withdraw my submission for being a speaker or award nominee?
Yes, you can.
If you've already been selected as a speaker, you will need to advise us as soon as possible so that we can adjust the conference program accordingly.
As an award nominee, you must advise pre-judging period (15 July).
How do I request any dietaries or accessibility?
During the lead up to the event, you will be given the chance to put in requests through your individual delegate login.
What are the conference dates for PIEF 2026?
This year's conference is being held from Sunday, Oct 25 until Tuesday, Oct 27 at Nyaal Banyul, Geelong Convention & Event Centre.

Submissions have closed for 2026. Our judging process has begun.
Tickets & Registration
How do i purchase a ticket?
Registrations for the conference can be purchased by visiting the registration page online.
We will open for registration around the beginning of June.
What are the payment options for registration?
We have invoicing and credit card payment options.
Currently, you need to be a sponsor or a PIEF member to access the invoice option. If you're unable to facilitate payment by credit card due to a specific circumstance, please contact us at pief@piefconference.com and advise us of your circumstance.
For those paying by credit card, please note we are unable to accept AMEX.
Will speakers receive a discount on registration?
Yes, all speakers involved in the official program for 2026 will receive discount off their registration (the same value no matter if it's Early Bird or Regular). This discount does not apply to the Village Stage presentations.
Can I purchase Awards Gala Dinner tickets 'by the table'?
Tickets for the dinner and for the conference are all purchased as individual tickets. However, you are able to purchase multiple individual tickets as part of the one transaction.
Can I request who I would like to sit with at the Awards Gala Dinner?
Yes you can. We endeavour to keep people grouped by company, but you are welcome to request to sit with someone in particular, or invite someone to sit at your table.
Do I need to register if I have a complimentary ticket?
Yes, simply register with the Discount Code that you have been provided so a badge can be printed for your attendance at the Conference.
How many people can sit at the one table at the Awards Gala Dinner?
The standard is a table of 10, but we are happy to take requests if you have more than this.
What is the conference refund Policy?
FULL REFUND
If the event is postponed* or cancelled.
If requested > 30 days prior to the event.
(Tickets can be held for the later date, if preferred).
50% REFUND
If requested within 14 to 30 days prior to the event.
NO REFUND
If requested closer than 14 days prior to the event.
If a registrant is unable to attend, by arrangement, they can nominate someone else to attend in their place.

If monies are outstanding for tickets, those tickets may not be accepted as entry to the event.
What will prices rise to at each stage of registration ?
Information on prices for each stage will be available very soon.
When will I get my lanyard/name badge if i'm attending in person?
Please visit the Registration Desk in the lobby area of Nyaal Banyul and your lanyard/name badge will be printed and issued.
Will I get a payment receipt for my purchase?
Yes, a registration confirmation email and a payment receipt are automatically emailed out to you within 24 hours after the completion of your registration.
For Group Registrations, this email is sent to the person to whom the registration charges are billed.

Closer to the conference you will receive an activation email to setup your profile.
