2024 PIEF National Conference & Awards

WE’RE HEADING WEST!  For the first time, we are pleased to announce the event will be held in Western Australia, at the beautiful Crown Complex in Perth, located in the lands of the Whadjuk Nyoongar people. The event is being held from October 28 to 30, with the prestigious Awards Gala Dinner held on the evening of October 29.

The 2024 PIEF National Conference provides a unique opportunity for industry practitioners and stakeholders to consider the principles of “Work, Drive and Be Well”, and hear from thought leaders, experts and industry practitioners on the following key themes:

  • Navigating the Changing Landscape: Emerging Trends in Personal Injury Compensation
  • Building Resilience: Adapting to Challenges and Enhancing Recovery
  • Strategies for Success: Collaboration, Innovation, and Best Practice

This event will include International and Australian Keynote Speakers, panel and breakout sessions based upon our three streams – providing many opportunities to come together, collaborate, share and network with industry peers and colleagues over the three days.

The National Conference detailed program will be released in June, along with the opening of delegate registrations.

Acknowledging Diversity

When planning the 2023 PIEF National Summit & Awards, we wanted to include and acknowledge some amazing people who have lived experience of disability.

We approached Tutti Arts, a South Australian multi-arts organisation where learning disabled and neurodiverse artists create art. They introduced us to the incredibly talented and creative Jackie Saunders, a Ngarrindjeri and Wirangu artist, whose artistry is beyond captivating.

We hope you were as impressed as us with Jackie’s artwork, celebrating her rich cultural heritage, and bringing attention to the Summit’s four sub-themes – Mental Health, Capability and Professional Standards, Attraction and Retention, and Innovation and Artificial Intelligence. Jackie’s creations serve as powerful reminders of the impact of art in sparking change and fostering connections between communities.

We’d like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Jackie and the fantastic team at Tutti for their invaluable contribution to the PIEF National Summit and Awards.

Together, let’s continue amplifying the voices and stories of Indigenous and disabled artists, celebrating their extraordinary talents and preserving their cultural legacy!
