The Personal Injury & Disability National Conference 2022 will be held at the Sofitel Brisbane and online as a hybrid conference on October 10-12, 2022.

The Excellence in Personal Injury and Disability Management Awards event will be held on October 11, 2022.

The Conference

The conference attracts delegates working in the personal injury and disability management industry from all across Australia.

It showcases initiatives that have achieved exceptional outcomes and industry best practice in motor accident (compulsory third party), workers’ compensation, disability and life insurance sectors.

The conference will provide delegates and sponsors an outstanding opportunity to make important industry connections, discover new practices and trends and showcase how the industry is evolving.

In 2022 the focus of our conference is Together, Today & Tomorrow.

Disruptive and challenging times over the past two years has impacted us socially, economically, technologically as we responded to the Covid-19 pandemic. This has caused our industry to rapidly adapt and change the way we operate and deliver services.

Respected Medical & Health Broadcaster

Dr Norman Swan is Australia’s most respected health journalist, broadcaster and commentator. We Are PIEF

The Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF) is committed to fostering, developing and inspiring talent, by providing quality education and training and professional development programs, events, and initiatives for people working in the personal injury and disability management sectors across Australia.

Established in 2006, PIEF is a not-for-profit, member based organisation, governed by an independent Board of Directors. Members include regulators, insurers and agents in the workers compensation, motor accident (CTP), and disability and life insurance sectors.

The Change Room provides programs to improve Health, Wellbeing & Resilience.

All programs are evidence based and highly relatable, delivered by Mentors with lived experience and deep expertise. Mentors share practical tools that empower participants to take control of their physical, mental and emotional health.

Programs are designed to service two key areas;

  • Supporting the recovery of injury or illness through Insurance portfolio
  • Providing programs in a preventative format to build wellbeing resilience through organisations
